Arulmigu Sivan Kovil (“Sivan TV”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Sivan TV mobile application and the website sivantv.com (together, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the Service does and does not collect, and how it is used.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

The Sivan TV app does not require you to create an account, log in, or submit any personal information to use it. We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number through the app, and the app does not contain advertising or analytics tracking software.

2. Information Collected Automatically

Like most apps that connect to the internet, the Service may process limited technical information automatically, such as:

• Your device’s internet connection status (used only to detect whether you are online, so the app can show a connection message).
• Standard technical data collected by our streaming and hosting providers when you play the TV or radio stream (see Section 3), such as IP address and general device/browser information. This is processed by those providers, not stored by us.

3. Third-Party Streaming Services

To deliver live TV and radio, the app connects to:

• Our TV stream, delivered through a third-party video player (livebox.co.in), loaded inside the app.
• Our FM radio stream, delivered through a third-party audio streaming provider (radioca.st).

These providers may set cookies or process connection data (such as IP address) as part of delivering the stream. Their use of such data is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.

4. Links to Other Services

The app and website contain links to our official YouTube channel, Facebook page, phone numbers, email, and map locations. If you tap these links, you will leave the Sivan TV app/website and be subject to the privacy policy and terms of the linked service (e.g. YouTube, Facebook, your device’s phone/maps/email apps).

5. Permissions Used by the App

The Android app requests the following permissions, used only for the stated purpose:

• Internet access — to stream TV/radio content.
• Network state — to detect connectivity and show offline messages.
• Wake lock / foreground service — to keep radio audio playing in the background when you switch apps or lock your screen.

No camera, microphone, contacts, location, or storage permissions are requested or used.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

7. Data Retention and Security

Because we do not collect personal information through the app, we do not retain or store personal data on our servers. Any communication you choose to send us directly (e.g. by emailing info@sivantv.com) is kept only as needed to respond to you.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
